Hey y'all!
My name is Melody McLaurin. I'm a self-taught artist from Atlanta, GA pursuing a degree in graphic design in the fall of 2023. I love to learn, hike, eat, and most of all, watch tv.
Growing up, my dad would buy movies from anywhere and anyone: Walmart, Kroger, Redbox... the guy standing next to the Redbox with CDs lining the inside of his pleather jacket. No matter how poor the quality was, movies played an integral part in raising me.
I currently work in the film industry as an art production assistant and have a degree in film. Working on set inspired me. Wherever I found downtime, I would whip out my iPad and start to draw. I made t-shirt designs for my team and drew art that made it onto "Atlanta" Season 4!
I feel most alive when I'm creating! Now I'm on a journey to learn as much as I can so I can do my part in contributing to the profession I love most, film.
